Charles Siegrist Circus Aerialist Showman's Club -- 6 Pieces

This is a six-piece memorabilia lot from the Charles Siegrist Showman's Club. Siegrist joined Ringling Bros in 1898 as an aerialist and performed until he was 72 years old. This lot includes: -- Three membership cards (2 1/4" x 3 3/4") from 1940, 1941 and 1942. The president of the club was Duke Drukenbrod (Buffalo Bill's agent during the European tour of the Wild West show). -- One admission ticket (2 1/4" x 4") to the 1939 "Fall Roundup" held in Canton Ohio ("first year and already the most distinctive and original showman's group in America"). -- One admission ticket (2 1/4" x 4") to the 1940 "Fall Roundup" held in Canton Ohio (second annual) -- One fabric ribbon (1 1/2" x 7") which reads "Charles Siegrist Showman's Club Ticket Taker" -- The items show some age/storage soiling. The cards and tickets have adhesive residue on the backs, and the ribbon has a corner tip crease. If you collect unusual circus memorabilia this lot would make an unusual addition to your collection.
