This 5" x 7" softcover booklet has 64 pages and is titled "One Hundred One Economies For The Motorist". The copyright is 1922 by Tide Water Oil Sales Corp, makers of Veedol products. The book's stated purpose was to provide the car owner with lubrication advice to preserve the performance, appearance, & resale value of his car. The illustrated text describes how to use Veedol products to provide the necessary lubrication maintenance of a car. There's a four-page application chart at the back, specifying the correct grades of Veedol to use for 1919-1922 cars & trucks by make & model. There's a great photo of an early gas station or service station, showing Veedol products and the old style gas pumps with Tydol globes. The booklet's cover & pages show some useage/storage soiling/staining, but the booklet is complete and all the content remains completely legible. What a great resource for the collector of Tydol, Veedol, or early oil company memorabilia!
