1916 Little Folks Children's Magazine Lot With Paper Dolls

This is a lot of four 1916 issues (February, May, June, August) of Little Folks (The Children's Magazine). Two of the issues include uncut paper dolls from famous paintings (Prince Balthazar from the Velasquez painting & William II of Orange from Van Dyke's painting). Cover art is by Violet Moore Higgins & Olivette Bourgeois. In addition to the great stories, poems & pictures these magazines have great vintage ads (like the politically incorrect Cream of Wheat ads & the Dan Patch racer). The covers show soiling, wear, & mailing labels. If you enjoy vintage children's literature, magazine paper dolls or vintage advertising this lot would make a fine addition to your collection.
