1940s Fishing & Tool Catalog Lot


This is a lot of two vintage items

The first is a softcover book (5 1/2" x 8" - 47 pages) titled "Fishing - How, When & Where" by Robert Kelly, published by Kelly-Mohr Co (no copyright date, estimated to be from the 1930s-1940s). The 26 chapters are illustrated by drawings signed by Robert Kelly and dated in the 1930s. The book describes its contents as "fishing fundamentals with practical suggestions on methods and lures". The book shows some useage/storage soiling (mainly on the cover and page edges) and occasional handwritten notations.

The second item is the spring 1940 wholesale catalog from Chas Weiland Inc (New York). The catalog describes its contents as "hardware, housefurnishings, cutlery, automobile, electrical accessories, fishing tackle". The first 71 pages picture, describe, and price tools.
